Extract exact page ranges, split every page, make fixed-size groups or choose visual breakpoints. Download one PDF or a ZIP of multiple parts.
PDFdukan's Split PDF tool divides an unlocked PDF into separate files: extract a custom page range such as 3–7, create one file for page 12, split every page, or make groups of a chosen size. The split operation runs in your browser; the page still requests ordinary site assets, analytics and PDF libraries from configured providers.
Long merged PDFs are common — a batch of contracts in one file, a complete e-book when you only need one chapter, or a 50-page scanned bundle where only two pages matter. Instead of sharing the entire document, split out exactly the pages you need in seconds.
Extract any range — pages 3–7, page 12 only, or multiple ranges. You decide exactly what goes into the new PDF.
One click turns a 20-page PDF into 20 separate single-page PDFs, packaged neatly into a ZIP file for download.
The selected PDF is processed by the page's client-side PDF code; confirm your browser and network conditions before using highly sensitive files.
The current tool does not require an account or add a PDFdukan watermark. Device memory still limits very large files.
Yes. Enter any range — for example pages 3–7 — and the tool creates a new PDF containing only those pages. You can also extract a single page or several separate ranges, one after another.
Yes. The "Split every page" option creates one separate PDF per page and packages all of them into a single ZIP archive so you download everything in one click.
The split operation is performed by client-side PDF code in your browser. The page can still request site assets, analytics and third-party libraries, so assess your browser and network before handling highly sensitive files.
Selected pages are copied with PDF-lib rather than intentionally rendered as images, so the tool does not deliberately lower image resolution. Complex forms, links, annotations, signatures or unusual PDFs should still be checked after export.
The tool does not state a fixed split count. Practical capacity varies with file size, page complexity, browser and available memory. Visual Split supports preview breakpoints for up to 60 pages; use Custom Ranges for a larger PDF.
Locked PDFs need to be unlocked first. Use the Unlock PDF tool to remove the password, then split the unlocked file. Both tools are free and run in your browser.
Yes. Use the Merge PDF tool to combine any split files — or any other PDFs — back into a single document, in any order you choose.
No account is required for the current split workflow. The tool does not intentionally add a PDFdukan watermark.
It is designed for current mobile and desktop browsers. Actual capacity depends on the PDF, browser downloads, device memory and storage; large or complex files are safer to process on a desktop.
