Privacy Policy
PDFdukan ("we," "us," or "our") operates the CamMaster website at pdfdukan.com. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information when you use our services.
1. How document files are processed
The document tools currently identified as local on their individual pages process selected files in your browser using JavaScript or WebAssembly. Those core operations do not intentionally upload document contents to PDFdukan. A file leaves your device only when you deliberately use a connected service, such as saving an output to Google Drive, or another feature that clearly says it uses an external provider. Review the notice on the tool you use before processing sensitive material.
2. Information we receive
- Contact requests: your name, email address, subject and message are sent to our email service (or the displayed fallback provider) so we can reply.
- Account and verification: if you use sign-in or email verification, we process the details you submit and short-lived verification and rate-limit data.
- Analytics: Google Analytics receives page and device/browser event information under Google's own terms. We configure IP anonymization, but should not describe analytics data as incapable of identifying a person in every circumstance.
- Basic requests: our host and security infrastructure may process ordinary request data such as IP address, user agent, requested URL, time and error logs.
3. Information That May Be Stored Locally
PDFdukan uses browser storage for preferences and app state. Depending on the features you use, this can include:
- Theme preference (dark/light mode) β key:
cm_theme - Recent documents list β document names and metadata only (no file content) β key:
cm_recent - Application settings β export format, quality preference β key:
cm_settings - Read notification IDs β which system notifications you've seen β key:
cm_read_notifs
Some authentication and Google Drive values are also stored locally. Information is transmitted when the related account, verification, contact or Drive function is used. You can clear local values in your browser settings; signing out removes the main local account state.
4. Google Sign-In & Google Drive Integration (Optional)
PDFdukan offers optional Google Sign-In and Google Drive saving. If you choose these functions:
- Google provides basic profile information used to display your signed-in account
- We request the
drive.filescope β this only allows PDFdukan to manage files it creates in your Drive - We do not access, read, modify, or delete any existing files in your Google Drive
- You may revoke access at any time via Google Account Permissions
4a. Google Drive Folder
When you connect Drive, PDFdukan attempts to create or use a folder named "PDFdukan β CamMaster Files". Outputs are uploaded only when you choose a Drive save action. The requested drive.file scope is intended to limit the app to files it creates or that you explicitly open with it. Access tokens and the created folder ID are stored in your browser. You can revoke access from Google Account Permissions and remove uploaded files from Drive.
5. Analytics & Third-Party Services
We currently load Google Analytics 4 to measure visits and usage, with IP anonymization configured. Google acts under its own privacy terms and may set or read identifiers. Some pages also load third-party libraries from content-delivery networks; those providers receive normal network request information.
The interface contains advertising spaces, but this source version does not establish that personalized Google AdSense ads are active. If advertising is enabled later, this policy and the cookie choices should be updated before personalized advertising is used.
Analytics and advertising choices:
- Visit Google Ads Settings to manage your Google ad preferences.
- Visit aboutads.info to opt out from participating ad networks.
- Visit networkadvertising.org for additional opt-out options.
See Google's Privacy Policy and our Cookies and Local Storage Policy for more information.
6. Cookies
Browser storage supports preferences and features, while Google Analytics may use cookies or similar identifiers. See our full Cookies and Local Storage Policy.
7. Children's Privacy
PDFdukan does not knowingly collect information from children under the age of 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy when the service or its providers change. The date above identifies the latest revision. Where required, we will provide an additional notice or request consent.
9. Contact
For privacy questions or requests, use our Contact Form. Do not include sensitive document contents in your message.
