These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the PDFdukan website and CamMaster application ("Service") operated by PDFdukan ("we," "us"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using PDFdukan at pdfdukan.com, you confirm that you are at least 13 years of age and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization.
2. Description of Service
PDFdukan provides browser-based document scanning, creation, conversion, organization, compression and text-extraction tools. Core file processing identified as local on a tool page runs in your browser. Optional account, contact, analytics, Google Drive and other clearly identified connected functions communicate with third parties or our service endpoints.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes. You must not:
- Process, distribute, or create documents containing illegal content
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or systematically extract data from the Service
- Use automated tools to stress-test, attack, or disrupt the Service
- Impersonate PDFdukan or misrepresent your affiliation with us
- Violate any applicable local, national, or international law or regulation
4. Intellectual Property
The PDFdukan website, CamMaster branding, user interface design, and original source code are the intellectual property of PDFdukan. The underlying open-source libraries (PDF-lib, PDF.js, OpenCV.js, Tesseract.js, jsPDF, JSZip, Sortable.js) are licensed under their respective open-source licenses.
Your documents and files remain entirely your intellectual property. PDFdukan makes no claim to any content you process using the Service.
5. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. PDFdukan does not warrant that:
- The Service will be uninterrupted or error-free
- OCR or AI processing results will be accurate or complete
- The Service will meet your specific requirements
You use the Service at your own risk. Always keep originals of important documents.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, PDFdukan and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to data loss, document corruption, or processing errors.
7. Third-Party Services
The Service uses third-party libraries, analytics, email delivery and optional Google services. Their availability, privacy practices and terms are controlled by their providers. Links to third-party sites are supplied for convenience and do not imply endorsement.
8. Modifications to the Service
PDFdukan reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time without notice. We will not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation.
9. Applicable law
Applicable law may give you rights that these Terms cannot limit. Any dispute will be handled under the law and jurisdiction that validly apply to the operator and the user. This wording does not require you to give up mandatory consumer rights.
