These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the PDFdukan website and CamMaster application ("Service") operated by PDFdukan ("we," "us"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using PDFdukan at pdfdukan.com, you confirm that you are at least 13 years of age and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization.

2. Description of Service

PDFdukan provides free, browser-based document tools including but not limited to: document scanning, PDF creation, PDF conversion, merging, splitting, image compression, and OCR text extraction. All processing occurs client-side in your browser. We do not store your files.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes. You must not:

Process, distribute, or create documents containing illegal content
Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or systematically extract data from the Service
Use automated tools to stress-test, attack, or disrupt the Service
Impersonate PDFdukan or misrepresent your affiliation with us
Violate any applicable local, national, or international law or regulation

4. Intellectual Property

The PDFdukan website, CamMaster branding, user interface design, and original source code are the intellectual property of PDFdukan. The underlying open-source libraries (PDF-lib, PDF.js, OpenCV.js, Tesseract.js, jsPDF, JSZip, Sortable.js) are licensed under their respective open-source licenses.

Your documents and files remain entirely your intellectual property. PDFdukan makes no claim to any content you process using the Service.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. PDFdukan does not warrant that:

The Service will be uninterrupted or error-free
OCR or AI processing results will be accurate or complete
The Service will meet your specific requirements

You use the Service at your own risk. Always keep originals of important documents.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, PDFdukan and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to data loss, document corruption, or processing errors.

7. Third-Party Services

The Service integrates with third-party libraries and may display advertisements via Google AdSense. PDFdukan is not responsible for the privacy practices or terms of these third parties.

8. Modifications to the Service

PDFdukan reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time without notice. We will not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via in-app notifications. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
